During our 2nd Year semester break last year, around March 2009, we had spent our 2 week vacation in Egypt. But for this time, only five of us went there and Shaarehan went back home (Penang) to spend the holiday with her beloved family. Alhamdulillah, it was really an enjoyable trip and we had learnt more about Islamic history.
Thanks a lot to Along and Hafizi, who became our best ever tourist guides . Along is actually Arifah's cousin whose studied there. We were amazed by their abilities to speak Arabic fluently. "Aiwah". Huhu, this was our favourite word when we tried to imitate them..=p
The food was so marvellous, mainly the pure juices, kebabs, seafood, and caramel puddings. The places and the people, especially the women were very beautiful. Every fine and windy morning, before we headed to our destination from the hostel where we stayed (it is apartments provided for Malaysian students), we could hear the students reciting the Al-Quran outside the apartment. It was so blissful. Subhanallah. Start our day with Al-Quran..=)
